It’s All About Connecting

This site-specific art installation is suspended 27 ft from the ceiling and serves as a visual representation of the transformative power of organ donation and the fragility of life. It was commissioned for the entrance lobby of a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ donation by connecting donor and recipient families. Through interviews and meetings, I developed a deeply meaningful concept using butterfly imagery. In addition, the installation includes original stainless steel organ donor discs that connect each of the eight abstract butterfly shapes to an infinity symbol, serving as a tribute to the unsung heroes who save lives through organ donation.
